Tyler Massey, President of MassMedia International,announced today that MMI has reached a deal to represent the format and finished episodes of Little Big Cook Off, produced by Quizzical Pictures with the agency 7 Different Kinds of Smoke for SABC3 in South Africa.

The original series, sponsored by food and beverage company Clover, finished its first season run in late 2014 with viewershipgrowing by over 40% from premiere to end of its thirteen episode run in its Saturday evening slot, to take the title as most-watched cooking reality series in the country.

The Little Big Cook Off is a brand new format that is a fresh and fun take on the competitive cooking show. Pairs of cooks compete against each other in making the best home recipes, but there’s a twist! One cook is Big (an adult) and another is Little (a child). A warm, uplifting show which raises the temperature when family pairs to work together, and highlights the bonds that form when they cook together.
